Follow these steps to ensure your wallpaper is installed correctly and maintains its quality over time:

General Preparation

1. Prepare the Wall Surface: Ensure the wall is clean, smooth, and completely dry. Remove any dust, grease, or residues from old paint. If the wall has cracks or holes, fill them and sand the surface for an even finish.
2. Plan the Layout: Measure the height and width of the wall, then plan the layout of your wallpaper strips. Mark straight vertical lines on the wall as guides to align each strip, starting from the center of the wall and working outwards.
3. Measure and Cut Wallpaper Strips: Cut the wallpaper slightly longer than the wall height, leaving extra material at the top and bottom for adjustments during installation.

Installation Guide

For Classic Wallpaper (Non-Woven)

1. Apply Adhesive: Apply wallpaper paste directly to the wall. This allows for easy repositioning and adjustment as you apply each strip, ensuring precise alignment.
2. Position and Smooth: Start by placing the top of the wallpaper strip at the top of the wall, aligning it carefully. Smooth downward using a wallpaper brush, working out any air bubbles from the center outward.
3. Trim Excess Material: Once the wallpaper is in place, trim any excess at the top and bottom edges with a sharp utility knife for a clean finish.

For Vinyl Peel & Stick Wallpaper

1. Peel and Apply: Start by peeling off a small section of the backing paper and carefully apply the wallpaper from the top of the wall. This vinyl is highly adhesive and cannot be repositioned once it touches the wall, so align it carefully from the start.
2. Smooth Out: As you peel the backing down gradually, press the wallpaper firmly onto the wall, smoothing from the center outward to prevent any bubbles.
3. Trim Excess Material: Once fully applied, trim any excess wallpaper at the top and bottom for a neat finish.

Care and Maintenance

• For Classic Wallpaper: Gently wipe with a damp sponge to remove dust and stains. Avoid using harsh chemicals.
• For Vinyl Peel & Stick: Clean with a dry, soft cloth only. Avoid water or chemicals, as they may weaken the adhesive.
• Avoid Direct Sunlight: Prolonged sunlight can cause fading. Use curtains or blinds to protect wallpaper in sunny rooms.
